I am Alan Kahn, the owner of North Fork Caretaker. I have been visiting the North Fork since the 1980s. In the late 1990s my wife and I purchased a home in Cutchogue, which my family and I visited each summer. We decided to make it our permanent home. I founded North Fork Caretaker in 2009 to provide other North Fork second-home owners with the kind of dependable local oversight I knew they needed when they were away. Those years of "closing down" and "opening up" the house made me acutely aware of the need for a house minding and concierge service business.
